Anglican Network in Canada

Richly Anglican. Academically excellent. Gospel saturated.

Named for the great author, professor, and theologian, the Reverend Canon Dr. J. I. Packer, one of our diocese’s founding clergy and its Theologian Emeritus, Packer College is a school dedicated to producing graduates ready for ordained ministry in our diocese and beyond. It is located in St. John’s, Newfoundland on the new campus of the Church of the Good Samaritan.

The college immerses students in the Anglican rhythms of daily prayer, community life, and ministry. It is academically excellent, with highly qualified professors and a robust, orthodox, Biblically grounded curriculum for training priests and deacons for fruitful, lifelong ministry. And, in everything, Packer College is a place saturated in the gospel of Jesus Christ, our Risen Lord and Saviour, and glorious Hope.

Packer College brings together biblical, theological, and ministry formation in the context of daily prayer.
