A bachelor’s degree is the normative prerequisite for admission to seminary. Some applicants might not have a bachelor’s degree yet possess the interest and ability to study at the graduate level. We encourage them to apply as a mature student.

Applicants unsure about applying for a program, but wanting to start taking courses, may do so as an unclassified credit student. Upon approval of the Academic Dean unclassified students may complete up to four courses for credit before formally applying for acceptance into one of the seminary’s programs in accordance with this policy.

ECCLESIAL APPROVAL FOR APPLICANTS SEEKING ORDINATION

Applicants seeking ordination within the Anglican Network in Canada, or any other diocese of the Anglican Church in North American, must have a letter from their bishop confirming this.

    1. Graduate Level Grades: An average grade of B in a college-level English composition or academic writing course.
