PROGRAMS

Packer College offers several programs tailored to fit various goals and interests. 

We offer the M.Div. and M.T.S. degrees in partnership with the Reformed Episcopal Seminary in Philadelphia. The degrees are accredited by the Association for Theological Schools and conferred by RES.

Master of Divinity(MDiv)

• Purpose: designed for individuals preparing for ordination to the priesthood in an Anglican context
• Courses: 30
• Modality: Residential or online
• Cost: tuition free for full-time residential students / $900 per course for online (total $27,000 plus books)

Master of Theological Studies(MTS)

• Purpose: for those with practical ministry experience requiring a shorter program leading to ordination in our diocese
• Courses: 20
• Modality: Online
• Cost: $900 per course (total $18,000 plus books)

Diploma in Anglican Studies(DiplAS)

• Purpose: prepares persons graduating from non-Anglican seminaries for ordination in our diocese
• Courses: 7
• Modality: Online
• Cost: $900 per course (total $6,300 plus books)

Certificate in Diaconal Ministry(CDM)

• Purpose: prepares persons for ordination as permanent deacons
• Courses: 10 short courses
• Modality: Online
• Cost: $300 per course (total $3,000 plus books)

Clergy Lifelong Learning

• Purpose: Short courses and discussion groups for continuing education in theology, theology, and ministry.
• Courses: Meet meet for 75 - 90 minutes weekly and run for 4 to 6 weeks
• Modality: Online
• Cost: $50

Lay Institute

• Purpose: Lay Institute courses support the people of God for a life of discipleship and service in the church and the world for the glory of God.
• Courses: Meet meet for 75 minutes weekly and run for 4 to 6 weeks
• Modality: Online
