Course List
Licentiate in Theology
Choose two of:
The Daily Office
Daily services of morning and evening prayer are scheduled throughout the term, along with regular services of Holy Communion. Chapel participation is an important part of a student’s spiritual formation, and regular chapel attendance and participation of students is a requirement.
Supervised Field Education
Students will conduct supervised field education concurrent with their course work. Participation in active ministry during the term is a non-credit requirement for graduation.
Graduation Exams
1. English Bible Exam: Passing the written English Bible Exam—which tests general Bible knowledge—is necessary to graduate. This test may be retaken until it is passed. Knowledge about basic Bible knowledge should be expected of everyone who wants to serve in the ordained ministry.
2. Doctrine Exam: Passing the oral Doctrine Exam given by the gathered college faculty is necessary to graduate. The exam focuses on the doctrinal standards of ANiC. Familiarity with and knowledge about the Thirty-Nine Articles and the 1662 edition of the Book of Common Prayer are reasonable requirements for ministers expecting to serve in the denomination.
